I thought this article was very interesting. I don't know
of a school in Gwinnett County that teaches Sewing do you?

I do feel sewing is being re-birthed. Especially, since Project
Runway started airing. What are your thoughts?

What's Happening

I hope everyone had a Wonderful Christmas! I'm looking forward to a Happy New Year!

The Arts & Craft Bazaar at Life Time Fitness was an OUTSTANDING event! A great Crowd, lots of Sales. I am a member and frequent the Johns Creek Location. I had so much fun meeting new people, having great conversations. You will definitely see me at this show again.

Thank you for all those that stopped by to say Hello and shop. I finished all my orders just in time for Christmas.

Window Treatment Demo



You will learn how a window treatment is put together. The demonstration will include step by step examples of a window topping. Upon registration you will receive a worksheet to provide your window measurements. We will review how to calculate the amount of material you will need if you were to make panel curtains. There will be an example of a panel curtain.

You will take home information, so you can make your own Window Treatment at home.

Children's Beginner Sewing

Introduction to Sewing Part I - is designed for the new or returning sewer. This class will take you from zero to sewing.

Learn the mechanics of threading, bobbin winding, needle insertion, interfacing, types of fabrics & tool basics. Practice basic stitches. Introduction to pattern reading, get ready for the next class.

Thank you Emma for the pictures. The middle Bag was made in class. The other two she made at home. This is her first time sewing and she is 16.
